if you are wondering at all the photos I have been posting lately, I consider it part of my therapy. I had to stop drawing for a time because of the nerve damage to my hands. I've been going to a PT and working to restore my dexterity and my strength so I do plan to start making art again. I've been walking too and I take a camera with me. Most of what you are seeing are reference shots. Soon I will be working on the MPLS paintings. I am thinking acrylics and watercolors and maybe some copic work.

I have been here in Minneapolis for my 2nd time this year. I am thrilled to finally start taking reference shots for a project I was planning to do about 4 yrs ago. My accident delayed that project until now. I am sharing the best of the photos I am taking and later when I get back home I will start painting. Who knows I might have the opportunities I lost back then. One can hope.

Well a couple of weeks ago I came close to dying. If I hadn't gone to the ER I wouldn't be here. Oddly enough my hands are working better now than they did before they pumped me full of 5 or 6 different antibiotics. Anyway I plan to add to my Gallery now that I'm recovering. Right now I'm in Minneapolis so I just took grays and black copics so I will be doing black and white drawings for the next three weeks.

Glad you didn't die. What's it like being in Minneapolis again after being gone for so long? Since I moved to Colorado I always feel like I'm just visiting...just curious if it is the same for you.
Parts are still painfully the same but other parts are different enough that I hardly recognize them. It's great having the freedom to just go and do things. I am getting strong enough that I was able to walk on and off for 4 hrs which is huge for me. I am starting to get the reference pics I need but I am going to get more when I come back next month. I plan to do it for a couple of weeks so I have more time to add to the references.
